Learning affiliate marketing is already complicated for some, but trying to figure out what your new site is going to be about can be one heck of a task.
Don’t worry, I’ve been there before and now have the best niches and sub-niches that will have you winning with affiliate marketing.
Even to this day, I still can’t figure out what other niche sites I want to go with.
However, I have come up with a solution to all this.
I figured out the top 5 niches that can bring in the most profit, and I broke them down into sub-niches.
This simple process worked for me, and I’m sure it will work for you too.

So before you go pulling your hair out, let me show you some of the best niches that I know for a fact will never go out of style.
That way, you can focus on other things like building your blog and making real money.

Let’s get into this niche madness, as I’m sure you will have that “aha” moment.
Wealth & Money
I personally believe that this is the absolute best affiliate marketing niche when it comes to creating an affiliate marketing business, and I can explain why.
At least a starting point to your niche, as this is beyond too broad.
Why Wealth and Money?
How about because of the fact that everyone and their mothers (literally) are looking to solve some financial problem?
Because that’s exactly how it is, and it is only becoming a bigger “problem.”
Now for you (the online marketer), this is where you come in as the knight in shining armor and provide the solution to their problems.
And the best part about all this is the fact that you DO NOT need to be some financial expert.
That said, let’s get into the first actual niche that comes from the wealth and money category.
1. Quitting Your Job
I love my job, said no one ever.
There are millions of people who absolutely could not care less if they got fired today.
The problem is that they NEED to work or find a way to bring in some kind of income.
This is the part where you step in and provide these ideas and advice on what the possibilities are if and when they do quit that dreaded J-O-B.
This is a great niche to get into if you simply are in the same boat as them and again, you do not need to be an expert at making money.
Heck, use this site as an example if others don’t believe you that money can be made from the internet.
2. Building/Fixing Credit
Adulting is a part of life, and credit is one of those things that kind of dictate where our financial life is headed.
One day your credit is through the roof, and you can’t help but show off to everyone about how responsible you are.
The next day your credit can be so bad that you would die before letting anyone know your credit score.
This then leads to a lot of stress and a bunch of other issues, which can be spread out into a nice niche in itself.
Credit repair.
Who do you know that doesn’t have bad credit and isn’t looking to improve their scores?
Statistics show that nearly 1/3 of Americans have poor credit, and that could not be a better indicator of why this is the perfect niche.
Through your research and experience, there is no one better than you (the real person) to give advice.
Tell others about how bad your score is and learn about the many ways that you can improve it.
What better way to make a living than by repairing your credit and helping others do the same?
Oh, and I forgot to mention the whole making money part, as that is really the real reason that this is one of the best affiliate marketing niches to get into.
On top of all these obvious problems, the affiliate programs that come with such a niche are very generous.
If making $50 for someone simply signing up for a credit card offer is not one heck of a deal, then I really don’t know what to tell you.
3. Trading
In my early days of trying to make money online, I eventually got involved with the Forex market.
It all started with me wanting to quit my job, and then bam!
I’m sitting there trading.
I joined a trading group, and things were grand.
Winning almost every single trade until, I guess, the scammers got in the way.
And yes, there are scammers in the broker’s department that you need to be careful with.
It was great while it lasted, but the uncertainty of where my money was going was enough for me to venture into other things.
Now the lesson here is not to do Forex trading but rather consider it in picking your niche.
There are millions of people looking to invest in this industry, and it is your chance to capitalize on things.
The affiliate programs within this niche pay generously and with people dumping billions of dollars into this, you can bet there there is space for you.
There is a HUGE market for people looking to trade and make money and this niche alone will have you busy for years.
And if you know a thing or two about this, to begin with, more power to ya.
4. Network Marketing
Have you ever heard of Herbalife, Melaleuca or?
If not, you might just hear about it soon from someone you know.
People are desperate to make money, and this is just one of the many ways they are trying to do it.
Some of you might know this as multilevel marketing (MLM), but they are all at least run the same way.
Get others to join and hope that they get others to join so that you can make money.
The more people you get to join, obviously, the more money you can make.
Now here’s the thing.
You do not need to be in any network marketing company to get into this niche.
If you have joined or even been approached by someone in this industry, you can very much build an affiliate marketing business around it.
And trust me, this is one niche that will be around for as long as you can imagine.
5. Working From Home
This is one niche that can be broken down in so many ways it’s not even funny.
The virtual assistant niche is beyond big in itself, and that is just one actual work-from-home job.
Now when you throw in blogging, taking surveys, and even just working from-home jobs, things can get pretty crazy.
You can literally do a whole website on affiliate marketing, and you will never run out of things to talk about.
I personally used this as my first niche (aworkathomejobs.com), and it is the same site that had me clear $100k in my first year doing affiliate marketing.
So if you don’t know how big the make money topic really is, I hope these ideas can give you a simple understanding of how much things can be broken down.
Health & Wellness
Coming from the topic of money to health and wellness is quite the leap but a good one at that.
This shows you how making money is not just done through money and can be even bigger if you play your cards right.
Every single year there is going to be the latest and greatest kind of diet, program, or supplement that will help you accomplish something.
Whether it be losing weight, building muscle, or even gaining weight, for that matter, there is a market for everything.
Just like money, health is just as important.
At least, that’s the way we are programmed to think.
With that being said, let me give you some niche ideas that can possibly be niched down even more.
The idea here is to give you ideas and, most especially, get you thinking a bit smaller, so I hope I have accomplished that so far.
6. Weight-loss
You can thank McDonald’s and Wendy’s for allowing this to be one of the biggest niches out there.
I don’t care who you are, there comes a point in your life where you start paying attention to your weight, even if it has to deal with gaining it.
In high school, I could not gain weight no matter what I did, and now it’s quite the opposite.
The point here is that weight will always be a problem.
Do remember that even this can be broken down into even better niches, but I at least want to give you some kind of starting point.
“Weight-loss for women over 50”?
“Best diets for fast food lovers”?
There are so many ways to go about this niche and come up with a brand that it leaves you a lot of room to build and grow.
So when someone tells you that this niche is watered down, think about what I just mentioned here.
There is SOOOO MUCH potential here, and again, this niche will never go away.
Just like that gut of yours, lol.
7. Keto Diet
I know nothing about this diet besides the fact that a bunch of celebrities are endorsing it.
I’m not going to cover much on this topic as I’m sure there are some of you who are in love with it, but I do want to emphasize the idea of building a business around such a topic.
Do you simply like to talk about this diet, or maybe you know of other diets that have worked for you that you would love to share?
Well, lucky for you, this is one niche that can use someone like yourself.
There are not that many sites built around this niche, so if you can become “the expert” in just this topic alone, you can make money with it.
8. Losing Your Gut
Abs.
Add the letters “F” and “L,” and you have the recipe for the opposite.
FLabs.
This niche alone is going to have you busy for decades.
I mean, who in the world does not want some beach body-type abs?
The problem here is that most people who enter such a niche think about abs, and that is it.
Getting sweet abs comes with many things
Diets, exercise, programs, and even just the right mentality.
This niche can be built out so crazy that it can even get overwhelming.
Hey, you can just be that abs guy or girl .com.
9. Eczema
Okay, let’s get on a different route with this whole health and wellness thing, as you can stay on the broad path with what I just mentioned.
This is probably going to be the most narrowed-down niche on this list, but I do want to show you the potential of something that might be considered “too narrow.”
I am no doctor, but I can tell you that there are many skin disorders out there.
Eczema just so happens to be the one I know about because my son had it when he was a baby.
Knowing that it is linked to asthma really got my attention, and that’s just one part of this topic that is not narrow at all.
I remember using socks to cover my son’s hands so he didn’t start bleeding all over the place.
The amount of content that can be created for just one skin disorder is pretty insane.
And the fact that you can always expand later is enough to know that this is one heck of a niche.
Don’t forget the oh-so-popular acne niche.
Skin in itself is big bucks but don’t forget to find one that suits your interests.
10. Healthy Eating
I am no health nut, but I am just about tired of hearing the jargon that comes with such a niche.
Acai bowls?
A sa ee or a sai?
I really don’t care how you pronounce it.
What I do know is that millions of people are on the bandwagon.
You might just be one of them too.
For affiliate marketers, this is a great thing, especially if you are into the whole lifestyle of eating healthy.
Whether it is a craze, there will ALWAYS be people looking to eat healthier.
You might not be into it now, but there might come a point when you will, and that’s how the cycle goes.
If you are into this kind of stuff, you might just be in line for the next best blog that caters to such a crowd.
Love & Romance
Every single person will look for love at one point in their life.
These days it is also very common for people to be lonely and without a significant other.
You can thank social media for that.
Whatever might be going on in such a topic comes with the many niches that you might want to get involved with.
There is just so much money to be made in this field, but I want to give you several niche ideas that can help you get started.
So if this is something you are interested in, here are what I think will be the hottest niches of the year.
11. Online Dating
Where do I even begin?
Maybe I can start with something as simple as a commercial.
Some of you might have seen some kind of commercial that involved some kind of online dating site.
It might have been with some boring-voiced dude, but the idea was to find love online.
This is definitely huge and one that can make you rich.
Imagine getting paid to show others that this dating site is better than that dating site.
All while they pay $0 upfront.
Again, please don’t get wrapped around just this topic, as such a niche can be broken down even further but still have the option to expand.
You can be flexible, and so can your niche.
12. Better Sex Life
Not the most appropriate of niches but again, the idea was sparked by a commercial that involved WhiteSox’s first baseman, Frank Thomas.
This niche can be broken down in so many ways that Frank can give you one of them.
Male testosterone boosters.
And if you really think about things, there are so many bigger markets that I would rather not mention.
Let’s keep this post at the PG level, and I’ll let you do the thinking on your own.
Just know that there are so many ways to go with this, and there are also billions of dollars waiting for you to tap into.
13. Weddings
Wedding planners are a thing, and Jennifer Lopez isn’t the only one who can do it.
The beauty of this is that you don’t really have to do anything physically.
By starting a website in that niche, you can give people free advice and still make money for it.
That’s just one niche on such a broad topic, but if you really think about it, you can come up with even more.
Groom advice?
Bridesmaid help?
Think about owning a site called thebridesmaid.com and how many different angles you can approach things.
The same thing goes if you were to run a site called thebestman.com.
If I wasn’t into ten million niches right now, you can probably bet that I would take the advice I’m giving you.
As a matter of fact, I might go and see if I can scoop up a sweet domain.
14. Divorce
Ho…ly….cow.
Just when you think the divorce rate couldn’t be any higher, it does.
And not only does it go higher, but it jumps way up there.
As an online marketer, this is great for you.
You don’t need to be some kind of fancy lawyer either but rather one that can relate to others’ problems.
First, you relate, and then you solve.
This niche is big, and you can see that there is no sign of it slowing down.
Just like how social media affected the dating part of love and romance, you can thank it for this one too.
Not the prettiest of niches to get into, but there is a lot of money to be made if you feel that you can be the go-to for such a topic.
15. Cheating
No one ever wants to be on the bad end of this one, but it does happen.
Sometimes we can’t deal with the truth, but we will do what it takes to uncover some infidelity.
This involves some physical research, but you can bet that there are millions turning to the internet to figure out what is really going on.
You can go in many directions here as well and it doesn’t always have to be a bad thing.
Maybe something like “how to not be cheated on,” perhaps?
The idea I’m trying to get through here is the fact that people are dealing with such a problem, and sometimes Google is the only one they can trust.
If you can be that person behind Google to provide such information, you can make a nice chunk of change.
Okay, enough about the mushy stuff, as I’m just about tired of talking about it.
Let’s get into something a little more fun.
Hobbies
That is one expensive hobby.
That’s what you hear for every single hobby you can think of.
Now, what does this tell you?
There’s lots of money to be made!
I don’t care what hobby it is that you can think of.
It is not going to be cheap.
This is your chance as an online marketer to cash in on what others will buy in the first place.
16. Remote Controlled (RCs) Anything
This is definitely one of the niches I tried to get into when I first started affiliate marketing.
I got one expensive fricken RC and never got the site off the ground.
Knowing how much these things cost got me hooked on this niche, but I had too many things on my plate.
The beauty of this niche is that there are so many sub-niches that can be created.
There are rock crawlers, trail-type RCs, and even off-roading cars.
Now we can’t forget the most common RC of them all.
Drones.
We have all heard of drones before, and I couldn’t help but add this to my list of niches.
There are so many people into this thing, and there is even more money being spent.
If you know something about this, you might want to get your piece of the pie.
I might have made the mistake of having you fixated on remote-controlled type hobbies so let’s get into something that isn’t so common.
17. Gardening
I absolutely love this niche.
Well, maybe not gardening per see, but more along the lines of actual yard work.
I mention gardening because most people consider it a hobby, not yard work.
For people like me, I find it relaxing, especially when I’m done and can enjoy the work I just did.
Now about the niche.
Something like gardening or anything related to working on your yard is one thing that won’t have you competing against big-name sites.
This niche can have you doing all kinds of how-to’s and there is an abundance of products that you can review.
18. Craft Beer
I love me a good session of drinking, and a lot of others think the same.
There are millions of people who have gotten into the craft beer craze, and there are no signs of it slowing down either.
The thing you do need to understand about such a niche is the fact that you will need to be knowledgeable on several things.
And no, this does not include drinking.
You will need to know about the different kinds of beer, the process of creating beer, and all the other non-drinking-related topics.
If you can provide that information, you can create an awesome site in this niche.
Now if you’re just a drinker like me, not so much.
19. Barbecuing
Unlike beer, this niche can make you money even if you like to eat some good old barbecue.
Sure, you can make a killing by reviewing BBQ grills, but you can still build out a site with little tutorials and recipes.
I have a strong interest in barbecuing, but I have many other niches that trumped yet another one of my interests.
The good thing for you (if you are interested in BBQ-ing), you get to get into the niche with not that much competition.
If you want profitable and fun, this is the niche you want to get into.
20. Woodworking
Woodworking is one great hobby with more benefits than the rest.
Not only is it very profitable, but the competition is as low as it gets.
There are not that many woodworking-type sites out there, and starting one would be a great idea if you are quite the handyman.
Another good thing about this niche is that you can throw in some YouTube videos that will help get you more traffic.
If you have a serious passion for something like this, you should definitely get into this niche.
Now that you have a better idea of what kind of hobbies are out there let’s get into something that doesn’t involve you.
Let’s make some money with our other companions.
Pets
This niche will never go out of style, and just like everything else mentioned in this post, there are billions of dollars being spent.
What’s even crazier is the fact that more people are willing to spend more on their pets than they would a family member.
What?!
Yup, this is happening.
Although kind of not cool it is great for people like you and me looking to make money online.
So forget about how much people care more about their pets, and let’s figure out how you can make money from them.
21. Dog Food
I had to start with the most common of all pet niches as it is kind of out of control.
And not because people are spending a lot of money on the internet for dog food, either.
You wanna know why?
Because they’re spending millions of dollars on premium, gourmet dog food.
Remember how people spend more money on their feline friend than on an actual human?
These are just some of the items they will spend money on, and this is just the start.
22. Pet Travel
Dog food is already a huge money maker, but more and more money is being spent on pet travel.
Within the last two trips I’ve taken, some pets accompanied people on their flights.
Now when people are taking their pet BFF with them, you can bet that it took some money to get them into the kennel or whatever carrying bag they were in.
Imagine getting a coach dog bag for your poodle like these celebrities do.
You’re talking thousands of dollars for a single purchase on something that is not even for a human.
Lucky for you, you can get paid for someone else’s fetish.
23. Betta
Yup, fish can make you money too.
If you aren’t familiar with the name, some of you might know them as fighting fish.
These are the kind of fish that can’t be put with others, or they will literally kill each other.
You might think that there isn’t a market for such a lonely creature, but there is a lot more money in this than you think.
Being that they are alone, you can bet that these fish owners will do more for their environment so that their little fighter doesn’t get bored.
And if you haven’t seen a Betta in your life, let me say that they are a very pleasing fish to look at.
But don’t let these good looks fool you either, as they will rip off any intruder’s fins in a heartbeat.
24. Cat Toys
I didn’t want to piss Garfield off, so I had to include cats in the mix.
If you are quite the cat lover, you will know that the littlest things will keep them busy for hours.
Sure, you can use a milk top that will do the job, but what do pet lovers do best?
They spend!
So if you know a thing or two about cats and would love to make money with them, this is one way it can be done.
And don’t forget how much people love watching funny cat videos, so you can create some and make money that way too.

Dog clothes.
If you don’t know this already, this right here is a big deal that comes with even bigger bucks.
I wouldn’t say this is the most fun niche to get into, but it is definitely profitable.
Now when you think that your pet can’t make you any money, I hope these niches make you think otherwise.
With this list of somewhat common niches comes the job of breaking them down, as most of them can do just that.
So before you get too excited, think about things and see if you can actually go a little more narrow.
At least for starting out.

The above niches are some that you can use, but I hope that they most especially sparked more ideas for you, as that was what I wanted to accomplish with this post.
Every single “niche” mentioned in this post should be used as a starting point, but I do think that you can find one on your own.
I mean, you can just imagine how many eczema sites will arise from this post alone.
It happens too often, and if you can narrow it down just a little more, you can stand out from the crowd and build something you can be proud of.
With that being said, I guess I can go into something that will help with the final decision of your niche.
Choosing Your Brand
When trying to find a niche, things can get overwhelming really fast.
Even with a list like the one I just provided.
A “trick” that I personally use is branding.
By reviewing some of the options above, try to throw it into a domain you feel can fit the person or brand you want to create.
Just like the bridesmaid.com idea, you can come up with a niche just by brainstorming different names that you want your business to be about.
The best example you can use would be the same site you are on.
All that make money from home talk earlier was pretty cool, right, but one might wonder how in the world I came up with such a name.
It’s pretty simple, and it came with something I’ve experienced in my life.
You can do the same with any niche, so let the gears start turning, and I’m sure you can come up with an awesome niche.
Picking From the Best Niches
As you can see, there are a plethora of best niches out there, and we’re talking millions of them.
At the end of the day, you always want to try to go about things in a way that will help you.
Think of several things you are passionate about or have some interest in.
Fiddle around with some and narrow it down to a few.
From there, go about branding yourself and decide on something that is catchy but, most especially, one that you can take pride in.
By doing things this way, you will hopefully get out of the broad territory and eventually develop a solid niche idea that you can build on.
