How to Fire Your Boss to Work From Home and Make Money Online

I work from home, and I did so by firing my boss.

I told her that she could kiss my behind and walked out the door.

She didn’t expect it, and I didn’t either, but I was just about fed up with everything at work.

After that, I became a wealthy online entrepreneur and lived happily ever after.

Cool story, right?

Well, that’s not exactly how things went down.

But I did quit my job, and I now work from home full-time.

Besides days like today, I find myself at a coffee shop so that I can concentrate on creating wonderful posts like this.

So, how did I quit my job and become an online entrepreneur?

I don’t have some kind of fairytale, happy-ending kind of story, but I do have a real-deal success story from someone who has literally tried it all.

But before any of that success, I was very much at a good old 9-5 that I’m sure most of you have.

If you don’t have one, that’s okay too.

This little story of mine will benefit you regardless.

Now, let me show you how I fired my boss to become the online entrepreneur I am.

What is an Online Entrepreneur?

Most people look at the internet as a place to socialize and “Google” things when they need answers.

Some see and know that there are people making money online, and others don’t.

Then we have those who know about these jobs and whatnot, but they only have a basic understanding.

You can start a blog and make money that way, or you can even start a YouTube channel and make money that way as well.

With something like affiliate marketing, there are many ways to monetize that blog, as well as any other route you decide to take.

I call myself an online entrepreneur simply because I don’t use just one method to make money.

I use almost every way possible, as that’s just how I like to do things.

The options were never there before, but with some research, trial and error, and most especially failing, I have come up with the best way to make money online.

With that being said, let me show you how things really went down.

Firstly, I Did Not Fire My Boss

colleagues

I’m not the dramatic type, and I did not give her the bird all while slamming the door behind me.

I didn’t tell all my co-workers how much I hated their guts either.

Things were pretty smooth, actually, and it was quite the opposite.

For me, I actually liked my boss.

She gave me whatever I wanted and even pushed me to apply for some of the higher-paying positions that regularly opened up.

I didn’t hate her, and she didn’t hate me.

As a matter of fact, I was even one of her favorites.

We had a great relationship that consisted of us helping each other.

This was not a corporate job, so we all worked for the government and didn’t work on making someone rich, so that might be why.

But who cares, that’s not what this is about.

With the awesome relationship and actual love for my job, I did the unimaginable.

I quit.

Confronted a disgruntled co-worker who actually hated her job, and I asked her what I needed to do.

With the advice given, I wrote up a quick two-week notice and never looked back.

I threw away the 5 years I worked at that job and didn’t even think about what was going to happen.

All I knew was that I had to break out of my comfort zone, or I would never do what I am able to do today.

Now, things weren’t fine and dandy but more of the opposite.

Tough Times Straight Ahead

Quitting my job was great and all, but moving forward came with a lot of craziness.

I did a whole post on that on my about me page, but I guess I can give you a quick rundown on how it all happened.

Right after I decided to use up some leave and not return to the office, I felt like I was finally doing something with my life.

I went on Craigslist, the classified ads section of the paper, and went to town to find out what business I was going to venture into.

That research led to a nice little bar that I was proud of.

With some renovation and a passion to succeed, I went all in.

Didn’t doubt my plan, but life had plans of its own.

Without completely understanding how things went, I was hit with a bar that came with an incomplete liquor license.

I was only able to sell beer and wine, and all other forms of alcohol were out of the question.

What?!

How in the world could a bar as small as mine make the money just to pay rent?

It was almost impossible, and that little stint lasted for only a year.

That “failure” led me to some debt and maybe even depression, but it ultimately led me to the wonderful world of the Internet.

But before any happiness came around, I fell for some get-rich-quick schemes and did even more failing.

Just when you think things are going to turn around, you get pushed back down the stairs.

Quit was not in my blood, and that is what pushed me to find something that actually worked, which I will get into here shortly.

Have a Plan…or Not

have-a-plan

This is something that even I myself find hard to explain.

I guess because of the fact that I’m an online entrepreneur, and I don’t want to lead you down a road that you might not come back from.

But I will try my best to conquer the best of both worlds.

So, you already know that I am a risk taker.

I take crazy risks and then think about the repercussions later.

These days, however, I try to tackle things with more of a grownup’s brain, so you’re actually in luck.

Here’s what I did and what I DO NOT recommend.

I quit my job and didn’t have a plan.

Don’t do that.

I withdrew the $15k from my retirement and threw it into a bar.

Don’t do that either.

What I do recommend is coming up with some kind of plan.

If you know for a fact that you want to do something “better” and you have the inner entrepreneur waiting to come out, this is what I recommend.

Plan on quitting your job, but also plan on what you are going to do after that.

There’s no need to do anything as crazy as I did, although I do think that sometimes it needs to be done.

You know yourself best, so do what you know you can handle.

And if working from home and making money from the internet is what you want to do, that’s great.

It can be done.

But first, you need something that actually works.

Get With the Program

Making money online is not magic.

However, there are thousands upon thousands of scammers and scammers that will point you in the wrong direction.

From a never-ending source of get-rich-quick nonsense to even more “I found a better way” type products, you will be beyond confused.

Lucky for you, I have done enough failing for the both of us that I know how things work around here.

There aren’t many ways to make life-changing income on the internet, but at the very least, there is at least one way.

You can always make a couple of bucks here and there with something like Swagbucks, but I’m sure you want more.

That is why I want to introduce you to the same program that has taught me everything I know about making money online.

This same program does not promise any crazy income, but they do have everything you need to create a business that not many know about.

This program is called the Wealthy Affiliate.

From the right training to the right tools, all the way to the support, you literally have everything you need to start, run, and maintain a real online business.

On top of that, you can get some coaching from me if that’s what you might want.

A little help comes a long way, and it, more often than not makes all the difference.

It’s really up to you.

With EVERY success, though, comes one thing.

Hard Work

hard-work

I can’t promise you a million dollars by simply joining any program, but I can promise you success if you put in the work NEEDED.

The opportunities online are there, but it isn’t going to come with you sitting on your butt.

Or wait, it actually can, as you will be sitting a lot of the time.

Unless you have one of those fancy standup kind of desks, then you might be doing both.

You get my point.

Living the dream lifestyle of making money online is possible, but it will not come easy.

As long as you can understand that you need to work at it, then you will be fine.

I have laid everything out for you in this post, now it’s really up to you.

Is the laptop lifestyle something you want to do?

Or are you just not cut out for this kind of stuff?

The opportunity is there, but the final decision is yours.

How bad do you want it?
