Get Waldo Review – Product Overview
Name: Get Waldo
Website: www.getwaldo.com
Type of Service: Cash Back
Price: Free
Overall Rating: 2.5/5 stars
Get Waldo is a cash-back app that does exactly that. By linking your credit or debit card, you will receive cash back by shopping like you normally would by using that specific card. When a purchase is made, the app will automatically reward you without any extra effort. It is safe to use and will allow you to redeem your cash via the Get Waldo App. Don’t forget that you will receive $5 just for signing up and linking your card, so take advantage of that.
So What Exactly is Get Waldo?
Get Waldo is a refund and savings finder service that allows its members to get cash back just for shopping.
Price matching is a thing and many stores (if not all) are honoring and giving customers the difference from goods that have already been purchased.
Under normal circumstances, several things need to be done for you to get that difference.
For one, you would need to be aware of the price drop.
Either in-store or through an ad of some sort.
Then you would need to bring your receipt back to that store and have the cashier issue you a refund.
This is quite the process, and that is why things like Waldo are created.
By cutting out all that work, Waldo can automatically issue you that refund without any extra work on your part.
That’s what it does, but there is more to such a simple concept that I will discuss in this review.
How Waldo Works

The idea behind Waldo is actually really simple, and there are other apps like DOSH that provide the same service.
These services use software that automatically detects when prices change and then grabs the difference.
By being the referring party, they will also get credit for the purchases you make.
You link your card and make a purchase, and everyone makes money.
The store gets you as a customer, Waldo gets their cut for being the referring party, and you get the cashback for just being a customer.
There’s no real technical job behind things, and this is exactly how it works.
Just in case you were wondering how Waldo makes their money.
Price Drop & Refunds Explained

This is one of the cooler features that come with Waldo.
The service works AFTER you have made a purchase and will give you a refund if the price of that item goes down.
This is done automatically behind the scenes and will be filed with that participating vendor.
If the system detects a price drop, it will automatically file a refund claim, and it will then be added to your Waldo account.
There is a minimum price drop difference of $3.
So if the price only drops by $2, then it won’t be picked up by the software.
Waldo does make exceptions for smaller amounts at its discretion.
Once a claim has been filed for that specific item, another one will not be filed even if that item’s price drops even lower.
Not all price drops are picked up by Waldo, so that’s something you can expect and not have the luxury of making a complaint.
There is also a 25% “finder’s fee,” which will automatically be taken out from the card you use with Waldo.
You will receive a summary for everything so you can see a breakdown of what you’ve earned and what fees were charged.

Supported Stores

With my experience in cash-back apps and websites, this is where the biggest problem occurred.
Most sites aren’t partnered with many stores, so your “cash back” doesn’t occur that often.
With Waldo, they are just a bit better than the average.
The stores that are supported are mostly apparel-based, but Walmart is on there if you do shop there.
These are all U.S.-based stores, so obviously, the app will only work if you shop within the U.S. or one of its territories.
There are just over 100 stores on the list, so you can’t expect much cash back by using their service.
You will find stores like Macy’s, Amazon, Best Buy, and other popular brands, but there is a lot that you might not have even heard about.
The Waldo Affiliate Program

Almost every cash-back type of service offers its members a chance to make some money by simply sharing it.
With Waldo, you, along with the sharing party, will get rewarded as long as that person is not an existing member.
As the person sharing the app, you will make $10 if the person receiving the invite connects his or her credit card.
That person MUST connect a card, or you will not get credit for that referral.
As the recipient, you will get $5.
This gets credited to your Waldo account and will be added together with the cash-back rewards that you will then accumulate.
From there, you can claim your cash and use it as you, please.
Now there is one thing that you must know, and it is something I am not too fond of.
There is a limit on how much you can earn through the Waldo referral program.
In a single year (365 days), you are not allowed to exceed $599 through referrals.
However, you can apply to their ambassador program if you do happen to hit that milestone.
I guess it isn’t that bad when you think about it, as $600 is the magic number when it comes to doing any kind of online business.
Once that number is hit, you, my friend, will need to report it on your taxes.
Waldo should be sending you the proper documents so that I wouldn’t worry too much about that just yet.
That isn’t much of a hassle but is just something you should be aware of.

Getting Paid
Upon reaching the minimum threshold of $25, you will be able to redeem your cash.
In order to get that, there are several requirements.
You need to have a Google account, which must be authenticated with Waldo.
This does allow Waldo to gain access to your Google account, so if that hasn’t happened, then you will not be able to cash anything out.
You also must have a valid debit card, and you must be from the U.S.
There is also an option to receive your payment in the form of a gift card, so you can utilize that as well.
Payments usually take around three business days, but you can see them sooner, depending on your transaction.
You are also only limited to one withdrawal request in a 24-hour period.
Pros & Cons of Waldo
Pros
- Will pay
- Is legit
- Awesome referral program
Cons
- Signup options are limited
- Not many supported stores
- Limited on referral earnings
- Referral must link a credit card to make money
Final Verdict: Legit

At the very least, Waldo is not a scam.
It is 100% legit, and they will pay.
You will get the cash you have earned, but it has its downside.
Limited stores and caps on referrals might be an issue but overall, this is not a bad service.
With a nice referral program, it’s hard not to spread the word.
Waldo is new, so now would be a great time to introduce it to family, friends, and even strangers.
Everyone wants to make money, and I’m sure they will appreciate what you are about to introduce them to.
Final Thoughts
There are a handful of cash-back apps and websites that I recommend, and this is just one of them.
DOSH is something you might want to look into as I use them myself, but Waldo does exactly what they do.
Heck, I would signup for both of them just like I did.
Now if you are looking for more of a career within the online space, I recommend something like affiliate marketing.
If the idea of selling other people’s products to earn a commission sounds like something you see yourself doing, that is what you should consider.
Besides that, I hope this Waldo review has given you all the information you were looking for.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments section below, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I know there are a lot of scam reports on many survey/cashback services, but this one seems to be reliable. Anyway, I always check forums where people share their stories about such services. Just to be sure
Yeah this one is good Notgar.
