The Best Way to Make Money Online in 2023

From time to time, I get asked this same exact question.

Instead of repeating myself repeatedly, I figured I’d create a post to answer the oh-so-common question and explain why.

So what is the best way to make money online?

Is it affiliate marketing?

E-commerce?

Network marketing?

With the many options, what could possibly be “the best”?

Within five years of making money online full-time and trying many programs, I have concluded that this is best.

Owning your very own piece of online real estate.

Whether you call it a blog, website, or web journal, this will be your biggest asset.

Some will say affiliate marketing or blogging, but I don’t like being held down to just one thing.

I’m the type of person who gets bored easily and will find excuses to skip out on some actual work.

I also don’t like putting all my eggs in one basket, as we never know what will happen.

But Why a Website?

Well, there are so many things you can do with a single website.

I agree that affiliate marketing is awesome and a great way to make money online, but sometimes your niche might not be the right fit.

What if advertising or getting sponsorships is the best way to monetize your site?

Affiliate marketing won’t be a high priority.

Now blogging is probably your best bet at making money online, but it does not mean you are bound to write daily.

Affiliate marketing goes hand in hand with blogging, and so does advertising.

This does not mean you can’t run an e-commerce store of your own to sell your own products either.

And it also doesn’t mean that you can’t set up a nice pay-per-click campaign to run some ads that will bring your site traffic.

What’s My Point?

I’m trying to explain that you don’t need to be bound to just one METHOD of making money online.

There’s nothing wrong with options and nothing wrong with making money in different ways, either.

This is why I say owning your own piece of online real estate will be the best way to make money online.

AKA your very own blog.

Like the site you’re on (brokeveteran.com), you can and should own your blog.

Yourname.com or thebakeshop.com.

Whatever passion or interest you have, go with it and create an asset that can pay you over and over again.

Unless that is not what you want.

Your Passion is Your Business

Some of you might like swimming, and some of you might like writing.

Whatever your interest or hobby may be, money is waiting to be made.

Take this site as an example.

This site is designed to help you make money online and give you the best tips and tricks to help you get ahead of the competition.

Helping people make money online is a passion of mine, and that is why I created this site.

Sure, I started in the parenting niche and affiliate marketing, but it just wasn’t something I was truly passionate about.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my kids, but talking about parenting-type stuff is not my forte, even if I own the domain askdads.com.

You get what I’m saying.

This is why you NEED to go with something you are truly passionate about.

With ONE Website…

The opportunities are endless!

You can blog about your daily life and add vlogging to the mix.

Affiliate marketing is a great addition, as I’m sure you would love to add your two cents to several products in your niche.

Advertising is a complete no-brainer, as it is probably the best way to make money without anyone making an actual purchase.

Then there’s always the option of advertising some products through Google, Facebook, or other social media networks.

Are you seeing the potential of just one website?

Sit back and really think about what I just said.

There is so much you can do with your blog, so don’t limit yourself.

Now what I just talked about might confuse some of you, and that’s okay.

Remember that we were all new in anything we did at one point, so you are definitely not alone.

If website creation is scary, take a chill pill and remember that this is not 2010.

These days creating a website is as simple as clicking a mouse, and you can have one up and running in less than 30 seconds.

And no, I’m not exaggerating.

I don’t think they are the best, but they are the most affordable.

You will learn everything about blogging, affiliate marketing, and making money online, and you can get help.

If you need a simple question answered, you can post it and have other members chime in or utilize their live chat feature.
